The techno-thriller "Demonlover" premiered at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival in Competition. The film, which also stars Connie Nielson and Charles Berling, is a thriller about high-tech international espionage and has French and English dialogue, for which Chloë had to learn to speak French. The film looks very good, as if it takes place in some kind of futuristic sterile world full of bright but cold colours and was shot on location in Paris, Mexico and Japan. Demonlover has enough to offer to make it a great film (with a terrific score by Sonic Youth).
